What woman in your life has been the greatest source of inspiration to you? My sister, Nia — she always keeps going. In spite of crazy, crippling circumstances, her drive and confidence are endless.

When do you feel like the strongest version of yourself? I feel strongest when I’m most freely able to create without any time limitations. When I can sing loud - when I can just explore all the possibilities.

How do you hope to inspire the next generation of women? I want to encourage young women to search themselves and find the seed of what they truly love so they can pursue it fully and fearlessly - and I want them to know they can always change their minds.

If you could spend an afternoon with any woman past or present — who would it be and what would you ask them? Maya Angelou - I would ask her what she thinks the top five qualities are of a great musical artist.
